The press release that came with this CD described Low vs Diamond as ‘arena-sized indie rockers’ and that’s a pretty big claim to live up to when you’re only on your second single, eh? It might take them a while to work up to that, but there’s definitely something promising if Heart Attack is anything to go by.

As well as sharing a manager and record label (Marrakesh) with The Killers, they share the same love of chopping and changing beats and tempos. Urgent drums and guitars give way to sweeping melodies without so much as a pause for breath. The other track that appears on all formats, Stand Up, lacks the drama of its counterpart, but sounds a bit like early U2 and that’s no bad thing. Ones to watch? Maybe…
