Diskoboy ‘Too Pop For Punk’ EP

EP Review: Diskoboy ‘Too Pop For Punk’

Released 17.02.07

Diskoboy are appealing on levels that you didn’t realise were. Their trashy disco-pop, reminiscent of the craze of bands such as the Gossip, is like a pretty kitten with claws.
Innocent to look at, harmless, but they will drag you in with their electro beats and have you dancing like you’re on something you shouldn’t be within seconds.
Unashamedly admitting the like both Girls Aloud and Sex Pistols, this London group have already gathered a loyal, if not slightly mental, following and their myspace friends are growing by the day
Diskoboy are a phenomena amongst the mediocre and frankly boring bunch that dominate London’s current music scene.
Exciting and entertaining, these 4 eccentric’s EP is a 3 track exhilarating, electro disco dancing session, and one you experience.
