The Marshals -
Make
Her Cry
|
|
Clocking in at just
under three minutes,
‘Make Her Cry’ is a well
produced
slice of easy-on-the-ear
guitar pop. The single
was recorded at Sawmill
Studio’s which has held
host to bands such as
Oasis and Supergrass,
who both
chose Sawmill as the
setting to record their
classic debut albums.
Clearly
the studio’s legacy has
rubbed off on The
Marshals too. ‘Make Her
Cry’ sees
singer Michael John
tackling a relationship
dilemma, and without
going all
Bon Jovi on us, he pulls
it off. “I might let you
down and you know it” he
sings. Well, he hasn’t
let me down; this song
could have easily been
written
by Weezer, its ace.
