Like all great bands,
The Bled have burst out
of a dreary life trapped
in a tedious town and
made it big. Well, not
big, but they’re getting
there.
‘My Assassin’, taken
from the new album
‘Found In The Flood’ is
a hardcore melodic
ballad, defying genres
(as usual) and drawing
in interest from rock
fans who would normally
sneer at this metal/emo
crossover. This single
is sweetly harmonious,
yet heavy and
ear-splitting, with
singer James Munoz
screaming demonically
one minute before
reverting back to a soft
emotional purr. A
disjointed song, but
it’s easy to listen to
and even easier to rock
out to.
