I’m Aimee; I’m 30 years old, originally from New Jersey and then at 10 moved to West Palm Beach, Florida but now live in the North East of England where I’m studying Psychology & Counselling at Uni. I’m a pretty laid back person, a bit of a computer geek, a Harley-lovin biker chick at heart and have 11 tattoos and counting…I also have a thing for dead trees! I love travelling and my all time favourite place is Amsterdam ;)

I’ve been in the UK for nearly 4 years and although I’ve always been into British music …Led Zep, Pink Floyd, The Beatles etc I’ve been really impressed with how good the music scene is over here although I admit I still don’t quite understand how some bands and artists get to Number One ..and stay there!!!
Growing up in South Florida the music scene was heavily dominated by hip hop, R&B, dance and country but I preferred 60’s and 70’s classic rock like Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Janis Joplin, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Bob Dylan and also Sublime, Janes Addiction, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice in Chains, Ministry, Primus and Nine Inch Nails. Sarah McLachlan, I have to say is easily my favourite to this day…  I also dig  Tori Amos, Ani DiFranco generally  women with attitude! I’m also partial to the odd bit of opera and classical stuff and occasionally delve into the realms of Gothic-dom with Dead Can Dance, Theatre of Tragedy and Bauhaus. Best gig ever – Pink Floyd – Miami 1994
